ABOUT THE ARTIST

 

 

 Katherine Chang Liu, NWS, is a full time exhibiting artist who shows internationally.  Her work has been featured in twenty-one books and over forty-five articles.  A recipient of funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, Katherine has served as juror for over eighty national, regional, and statewide competitions.  She has taught for museums and various art groups since 1978.  From 2000 on, Katherine has reduced her teaching activities to three to four workshops a year.

This program is for the experienced artist who needs critique and evaluation of their body of work to date.  This is a studio workshop where artists work independently in their usual approach in any media.  The participant will be asked to bring no more than twelve (12) slides or actual framed or matted, recent work for an in-depth private discussion of his or her strengths and individuality. 

An intensive questionnaire, information sheet, and exact location will be sent to the participant after registration.
Last year's participants will have priority for this class.
